Happy Wednesday and hope you are all having a great week so far. Today I’m wearing one of my favourite new items this neutral sweater poncho with a geo-pattern which is another Old Navy gem. If you are thinking of buying a poncho as far as I’m concerned this is THE one to buy, I’m so smitten with it I also just ordered the black and white one. One of the things I really like about this poncho is that it has a large button on each side so it’s very easy to wear, just throw it on top of a tank/cami as you would any sweater. I went with a tank this time but you can wear it with a long sleeve top in the winter. The flow and oversized style of the top is perfect, it does run larger so I went with a size small as opposed to my regular medium. It’s a comfy and chic piece that I received many compliments on when I wore it. I styled it from day to night to give you ideas of how versatile a poncho like this is. The best part is that it is now on sale and if you are interested I would grab it fast as great items like this do not tend to last long at Old Navy. Ponchos are very on trend this season (check out this amazing selection here) but a simple and chic one will last for years and never goes ‘out of style’.
For the day look I went with distressed jeans, ankle booties and my crossbody bag. I would also wear this with leggings, a longer top and flat boots in the winter.
For my night look I added some glam accessories and these high boots that I recently bought at DSW. I like that they are high up to the knees so they are on trend but not completely over the knee (OTK). As of yet I haven’t been able to find a classic pair of OTK boots that would be appropriate for everyday use but I’m not giving up on my search. You can also wear this with a fitted pencil skirt and heels for another dressy look.
Are you wearing ponchos this season?
