How To Style: Floral Dress Two Ways

Spring and florals are synonymous, as soon as the weather starts warming up my style tends to evolve embracing all things “girly” from florals to pastels.  With our harsh winters dressing in heels and skirts isn’t very practical so I tend to stick with boots, moto jackets, layers and such.  Even though it’s not quite spring the weather is mild enough for me to finally start pulling out some of my spring finds.  This pretty floral dress was one of the items I featured in my Forever 21 Shopping Haul post and I couldn’t wait to wear it.  I wore it to church within a week of getting it and styled it similarly to the “night” look here.

For my day look and since the weather is still chilly I went with my warm mixed material moto jacket, infinity scarf, and camel boots.  This outfit had that edgier vibe and was still comfy which is always a bonus.

For my night look I wanted to go glam so I picked this jeweled statement necklace and bracelets.  This Kate Spade purse was also featured in one of my recent posts, love that it’s a classic shape and in black leather yet the bow detail makes it stand-out.

It’s a versatile dress and I can think of several other ways I’ll be wearing it (or any floral dress) this spring:

  1. With a denim jacket and wedge sandals.
  2. With skinny jeans and espadrille’s for a casual comfy look.
  3. With a fringe purse and gladiator sandals for a boho vibe.

Hello Marta! Love the dress you got at Forever 21 (one of my favorites stores) and the many ways you styled it and will be styling it. I love anything with flowers on it and that dress to me is just perfect. I can’t believe there is still snow up there! I will go ahead and send you some warm weather from Florida:-) It is actually getting too warm in here (not fun either!). I really like the day look just because I love layering so much. I think it is because I don’t get to wear layers often here where I live. The night look is also very pretty and you look fabulous and beautiful as always. Sending you lots of love, peace and happiness Marta. Have a wonderful weekend! Blessings, Jeannette
