Hope you all had a great weekend! It’s a long weekend here in Ontario so today is an extra day added to my vacation and I can’t complain about that! We had a blast last week for our first family vacation at Great Wolf Lodge in Niagara Falls, my girls are 4 and 2.5 years old so it’s the perfect spot for a young family. The hotel is focussed on young children and there is no shortage of activities for them even without the waterpark. It’s a family friendly environment and they have children’s clubs, story time at night, treasure hunts, games by the pool and more. My hubby and I also had a date night yesterday and I posted a couple of pictures on my Instagram page.
Today’s look is a fitting OOTD given that my last post was on white skinny jeans and how they are a summer staple. I dressed mine up with heels but I tend to most often wear them with comfy flat sandals or sneakers. This flowy top that ties up at the back was a steal at Winners/T.J.Maxx and my accessories are all from Old Navy. Summer is a great time to save on items and make budget friendly purchases especially if you live in an area with long winters. If it is a classic item that will take me into the colder months such as dark denim or a neutral bag I will invest in those types of pieces. I have a slight obsession with Kate Spade bags and the one I’m wearing here plus my studded heels are the splurge items in this outfit. Both of these are versatile and I’ll be using them well into fall.
