I shared my latest obsession with this Rebecca Minkoff saddle bag here and today I’m featuring it. This bag is gorgeous, I know that may sound a little exaggerated but that’s just the kind of relationship I have with my bags and I’m happy to share that it’s on major sale right now! I just saw this bag in a high-end department store at full price so take it from me when I say this bag is a steal. It has a bit of a boho feel with the side-tassel and the studded border detail stands out but isn’t overwhelming. The studs are a light gold colour which gives the bag a bit of a glam touch as well.
This is listed as a saddle-bag but it’s also the perfect crossbody and I have spoken before about the practicality of a good crossbody for a busy mom. The leather is soft and I was surprised with how spacious it is for a smaller bag. The neutral brown shade makes it versatile which is something I look for when it comes to a quality bag. I know that this will be on repeat and a piece I will get good use out of. I needed a bag in this colour that was classic enough but not boring and this bag definitely fits the bill, a good investment piece in my books.
I wore my light wash flares, Free People blouse (sorry it’s sold out but I linked to similar Free People blouses above) and wedges for this spring boho look. I’m also still quite a fan of a slight flare jean for this season and the pair I’m wearing by Mother are soft, comfy and lightweight. Mother makes premium denim so they are a more expensive line, however, good denim is another item I occasionally splurge on and I don’t regret getting these. I bought mine last season but found the same pair here.
I wanted to share a sweet pic my hubby took while we were out taking pictures for this post.
Although I’m a mom blogger and sometimes talk about my girls I am not a “mommy blogger” focussing on parenting. I think there is sometimes a misconception that if you are a mom who blogs you have to share pictures of your children but there’s a distinction between the two genres. I’m a fashion blogger who happens to be a mom so my focus is on fashion whereas a mommy blogger focusses on life as a parent and regularly shares about their family. It’s also a matter of personal preference I do follow mom fashion bloggers who regularly share pictures of their kids and I think it’s adorable, it’s just not my preference. I thought it was a perfect time to share this family pic though as this is the reality when you are a mom fashion blogger. My girls are always with us when we are taking pictures and having nice walks and lots of play time is often how things end off.
Thanks for stopping by and reading!
