Exact top C/O SheIn (lace mock neck blouse) / barcelona cami (various colours) / similar skinny jeans / similar Rebecca Minkoff bag (here & here) / similar open espadrilles (here, here, here & here) / similar white cropped jeans / similar closed espadrilles / Rebecca Minkoff bag (in white & blush)
White lace is everywhere this season so when I stumbled upon this popular lace mock neck blouse I knew I needed to have it. I styled this lace mock neck blouse two casual chic ways for today. My style is more of a casualista than a glamour girl so both times I paired it with denim. This blouse is pretty and flirty but also quite elegant. I love that it’s versatile and can be casual or worn with heels and a skirt to a formal event.
This blouse is transparent and although you can wear it with a bralette I wore it with a cami underneath.
For the first look I wore one of my wardrobe essentials: black skinnies. I added my boho bag and these fun lace-up espadrille’s that I recently scored at Winners (T.J.Maxx).
Cute story about these espadrille’s, I was shopping at Winners and after a disappointing stop in the shoe department I felt defeated. I mean I didn’t find a single pair of shoes I wanted! Okay I may be exaggerating just a wee bit here…first world problems for sure. I told my girls we were leaving as I didn’t like any of the shoes. My oldest daughter agreed about the poor selection but than said “yeah mama I only like this pair”. Low and behold I turn around and she had found these beauties.
The funny part is that I’ve been on a mad hunt at every Winners in the city since I spotted them but not in my size. I was excited cause let’s be honest these espadrille’s are the bomb and I don’t use this term lightly when it comes to footwear;-). Even though I can’t link to this exact pair I did link to several other fab espadrille’s above.
For my second look I went for a white monochrome look. I wore comfy espadrille’s with this outfit too but a great pair of heels would also go perfectly. With many events coming up this spring/summer I will definitely be styling this lace blouse with a skirt and glam heels.
I have to say I’ve tried this lace blouse on with light denim, skirts, palazzo pants and my conclusion is that this top can do no wrong. It seems to work with everything I paired it with and best thing is it’s a steal at under $25!
